"The [Louisiana] Clint"

Have you heard about a drink called "The Clint" yet? If not, you're about to hear all about it!

Our agenda for the weekend was to find out what all the fuss was about surrounding this mysterious drink called "The Clint". Come to find out, it's a drink created and named after former secret service agent Clint Hill, author of the book "Five President's". Yes, you read that right, FIVE president's. This man deserves to have a drink named after him.

If you want to read the whole story, click on the link below, but long story short: Clint was tired of having to explain to bartenders how to make his drink, so he put it on a business card and named it "The Clint". The drink is simple: 2 shots of Campari, 1 shot of vodka, soda water, slice of orange, in a tall glass with ice. What stood out to us was Clint did not specify a brand of vodka, so we thought, JT!

This video shows owner Mike Fruge's daughter, Mia, putting together The Clint Louisiana style. As you will see from the video, Mia is not a professional bartender, but she will certainly entertain. Our favorite part is when the cork pops from the bottle without warning, that's happened to you, too, right?

Keep The Clint trend going, but remember, JT is the vodka of choice. Be different, make a Louisiana purchase!
